Anime-Planet is one of the oldest and most complete anime and manga tracking sites around, and the one I keep coming back to for its recommendation system. Unlike MAL, it has an incredibly rich tag system — you can search for anime by mood, themes, art style, and hundreds of other tags that actually help you find something specific to watch. It also lets you stream legal episodes directly through Crunchyroll without leaving the site. Users who've tried both tend to say Anime-Planet's UI is cleaner and easier to navigate, and its personal feed history goes back further than MAL's. It's a great all-in-one hub whether you're just starting to explore anime or have been watching for years.
